Songs for Writing (Music Monday of sorts)
Last night I started my Post Graduate degree. If you didn’t know already, it’s a writing course, so I’ll be doing a lot of reading and writing and thinking. Given that I’m also working for SMASH! as their content coordinator (which mainly involves writing), you can guess (and guess right) that there’ll be a lot of writing in the next few months.

57031 – Non-Fiction Writing
Late this month I will be starting my Graduate Diploma in Writing. While dealing with some problems while trying to enrol into subjects, I finally managed to get a nice timetable for Autumn semester – Monday to Wednesday, 6-9pm. Not only am I free in the mornings all throughout the week, my friend Shaz also has the same timetable, which means we can be PostGrad buddies!1

Anime Sydney Christmas Party 2011
Every year, the anime clubs of Sydney come together in early December in an event known as the Christmas Party in order to celebrate – you guessed it – Christmas. And last night the Anime Sydney Christmas Party 2011 (hosted by AnimeUNSW) was on. And let me tell you, it was a lot of fun.
BA in Communications
So about half an hour ago, I wrote the final word for the final assignment for my degree. In other words… I have (unofficially) finished my university degree.
In other words. I AM FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Writing writing writing!
Well, this have been a crazy weekend.
Two assignments. 3,000 words in total. Both due tomorrow. While I’m not surprised I actually finished them on time… it still feels like a lot. Which is funny, because last semester I wrote three assignments due on the same week, which it all added to 5,000-6,000 words. It was mental!
Assignments can be hell…
…Even if you are interested in the topic.
For most of the day I have been working on my Film Studies essay, where I had to answer what I thought Pedro Almodóvar means by ‘narrative naturalness’. While I have only seen two of his films, All About My Mother (1999) and Volver (2006), I love his films. I find that he has a very unique style of story-telling, and it helps that his stories are interesting (at least his later work does).
Crazy Week
So it’s been more than a week since I last blogged. I blame it on the crazy, tiring week I just had. Mostly stuff at home that has been stressing me out that I won’t get into (although I believe I’m over the teenage resentment towards my parents, which is good).
