Rurouni Kenshin: Shin Kyoto-Hen
I was looking forward to this. A new RuroKen anime! Maybe just an OVA and not a series, but still! Alongside the new manga coming out in a few months, and the live-action film being released late in the year, I was thinking 2012 would be the greatest year ever – even if the world somehow ends.
But noooo. Not only did they screw with the story, they screwed with the best arc of the anime! (second best arc of the manga). WHY!

Live Action Ranma 1/2 in December!
Believe it or not, they're the same person.
So I forgot to mention another Anime series I used to watch as kid: Ranma 1/2! It was one of my favourite series at the time, and I always looked forward to watching it every afternoon, sometimes with my brothers when they visited. The series is an martial arts Anime about a guy named Ranma who, while training in China, gained the ability curse to transform into a girl when he comes in contact with cold water. While the Anime started to drag 20+ episodes into the story, the Manga fared a bit better (I think, I haven’t actually finished reading it).

…But other than that, this image brings back memories. If I’m not mistaken, this is the cover of the first issue of the magazine ‘Sugoi’, an Anime/Manga magazine published in Peru. This issue was actually a gift from my brothers, and probably the first instance where I read the words ‘Anime’ and ‘Manga’. Oh, and ‘hentai’ too. 1 But even more important, it was through this magazine that my love for Anime started. And all thanks to my brothers.
