Between profiles and dentists

So I haven’t been blogging much lately. I have to say that sucks, but I haven’t been much in the mood to write. I haven’t even been reading that much. The Great Book Quest two weeks ago, and the multiple times I’ve gone out with friends or for other reasons have taken some of the energy I had late last month. Unless I have a good reason AND a strong enough motivation, I just don’t feel like doing anything except randomly browse the Internet and tweet with friends.

That is not to say I haven’t been doing anything. I have been catching up on the Vlogbrothers videos, and I think I have watched every single video except for November and December 2007. After that… I might watch them all again, hehe. I usually watch them while I’m eating, and I think this might turn into a habit that I won’t mind keeping.

I have also been doing stuff for SMASH!, such as this year’s guest profiles for this year’s anime convention. It’s fun knowing such important information, and no, I can’t tell you. Not that I would like to (I’m evil like that). I have to say writing them with so little information given was a challenge, but it was a fun challenge, and while not completely happy with the results (I need more info!) they’re still good, and my supervisor was happy with them, so yay.

Today I went to the dentist. I never liked going to the dentist, especially as a kid, where going to the dentist usually meant it was time to say goodbye to one of my teeth. Nowadays it just means a check and clean session, just to make sure my gums are doing okay. Thing is… last year I was told I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out. Both of them. Well, two of them, I’m not sure how many there are, but it doesn’t matter, because I’m not looking forward to that. No sir, no.

Oh well, it must be done… I don’t know when I’ll do it, I know I will put it off as long as possible, but it has to be done this year. Luckily, they’re not annoying me just yet, so I still have some time to hold on to my wisdom.

Tomorrow is Valentines. I’m planning to write a blog about it, but whether I do end up writing or not is still up for grabs. We’ll see how things go.

P.S. Because my dentist appointment turned out cheaper than expected, I thought it would be a good idea to reward myself with a book. So finally I can look forward to The Hunger Games film without worry, for now I have the book! :D
